Women who undergo pelvic reconstructive surgery often experience moderate to severe postoperative pain. The Alinsod Pain Management System was developed to help manage the postoperative pain associated with pelvic reconstructive surgery. The Alinsod System utilizes specially designed catheters for the infusion of anesthetic at the surgical site.

The localized delivery of anesthetics allows for a reduced dosage of systemic narcotics to manage pain. Reduced systemic narcotics may result in the patient being discharged earlier. The pain relief and ambulatory nature of the Alisod Pain Managemnt System may also lead to better patient satisfaction scores.
